John Quincy Adams on . . . Twitter?

John Quincy Adams is now on Twitter, 200 years after the fact. The Massachusetts Historical Society took a student’s comment concerning the terseness of JQA’s diaries (“It’s like he’s using Twitter”) and decided to put the former President and statesman’s entries online. (Read more about the project from the Boston Globe article). You can follow his tweets @JQAdams_MHS right here: twitter.com/JQAdams_MHS. For now, the updates are coming 200 years to the date after they were first sketched into his personal diaries.
